Semi-Private- Grab some friends and get with an instructor to plan your schedule. v Private- You and buddy get with an instructor to plan what works best with your schedule. v Group Class- Take the class with others who share the desire to learn scuba diving. Come by the shop and pick up your at home study materials, go over release forms, and reserve your space in classes. v

Building A Foundation At home read the SSI manual and watch the training DVD prior to the first class. v

Review/Pool Skills Dive In class you will review the material from your home study. In the pool, you and the instructor will practice the basic skills to help develop your use of the scuba equipment.
Recognition Levels
Advanced Open Water Continuing education is serious fun!! This class is a "hands-on" training by exploring new interests while developing your skills along with learning new ones. This certification can be obtained after completing 4 specialty dives and 24 logged dives.
Master Diver This is considered a prestigous certification. Those who attain this level have the skills, knowledge, and experience to be known as a Master Diver. This certification can be awarded after completing 4 specialty dives plus Stress & Rescue, and 50 logged dives.
Speciality Classes
Boat Diving
Boats allow you to explore many wonderful dive sites that are away from the shore. This course covers the knowledge and techniques you will need to dive safely and properly from all types of boats. You will learn how to enter and exit the water in all types of conditions, special equipment and storage used on boats, avoiding seasickness, and boat "lingo" so that you sound like a pro.
Computer Diving
Tired of trying to figure out those darn dive tables? Ready to let a computer do the work for you? This specialty will teach you how to use your computer properly. Your instructor will show you the features that are specific to your personal dive computer.Dive safer and smarter by using your own personal dive computer.
Deep Diving
Many of the more exciting dive sites are found in deeper water. In this class you will learn how to make an effective dive plan, recognizing and handling hazards, being prepared with backup gear, and enhancing your skills for deep diving.
Dry Suit
Getting cold is a thing of the past. This class will teach you how to find the best dry suit and underwear for you and help you practice neutral buoyancy techniques and proper weighting.
Enriched Air Nitrox
Divers who use Nitrox can increase safety and extend their bottom time. This speciality will help you to plan your dives using nitrox, how to manage your exposure to nitrogen, how to inspect your equipment for O2 clean. After the course you will be able to enjoy breathing up to 36% Nitrox on your following dives.
Equipment Techniques
The use of a high-quality and proper maintained Total Diving System enhances the enjoyment of diving and contributes to the safety of the sport. In this speciality you will learn how to select and adjust the components of your Total Diving System. Perform basic maintenance on your gear. Leearn how to care for and store your equipment between dives.
Navigation
Never ask "Where Am I" again. This course will help enhance your navigation skills by using underwater natural landmarks, choose and use the best underwater compass that fits your needs, and combine both natural navigation and your compass for safer more satisfying dives.
Night and Limited Visibility
Whether it is day or night. limited visibility can be an adventure. If you want to be more comfortable in turbid water conditions, this class is for you. Learn how to specialize your gear for night diving, what to do if you lose your buddy, and relocate your dive boat or shore at night.
Search and Recovery
So, you heard that a certain wreck has hidden treasure, or you have lost a piece of your gear during the dive. Do you know how to find it? During this class you will learn how to perform different search methods, communication techniques used during a search, and specialized equipment used to search and recover items from underwater.
Stress and Rescue Do you know what to do in case of an emergency? This certification will help prepare you to recognize and avoid potential problems along with what to do during a crisis while diving. This certification requires CPR and First Aid as prerequisites.
Underwater Photography
Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but bubbles! O.K. let's do that! This course will help you bring back beautiful images of your dive trips by showing you how to pick the best camera system for your needs, how to care for your investments, what subjects make for good pictures, how to improve shot composition, and advanced photo techniques so that you bring home the best photos possible.
Wreck Diving This is one of the most exciting courses offered by SSI. This speciality will teach you how to select and locate wreck sites, familiarize yourself with the equipment used for wreck dives, and help you plan and execute a safe and exciting wreck dive.
Refresh Scuba Skills We all get a little rusty when we don't practice what we have learned. This is the best way to regain important skills needed to dive safely and to make the most out of your diving adventure. In this course you will watch the SSI Update video, review the dive tables or your computer, and practice the basic underwater scuba skills in the pool.

Snorkeling is an exciting activity that anyone of any age can enjoy with a minimum of equipment and training. Snorkeling is more than just something you do on vacation.
