Scuba Schools International (S.S.I.)

Diver Certification Program

We make it safe and convenient to become a certfied scuba diver. We offer an on-site heated pool and the most experienced instructors in town. If you schedule is too hectic to coordinate with our group classes, private and semi-private classes are available. In three easy steps you could be on your way to becoming a certified diver.

Steps to Becoming a Certified Diver

Step One ( Is it right for me?) Personal Orientation

Scuba is a great sport but maybe not right for you. Don't get us wrong we'd love to see become certified. But, we also want you may an informed decision about the program. Set up a ten minute orientation with us so we can meet you and discuss your needs and schedule.

Step Two- Let's Get Started with Home Study

Now that you've decided to start the program there is some home study involved.

Step Three- Home Study Review & Pools Open!

You will review the chapters in your book and get a hands on tour of the equipment at our facility. Next, we build the foundation for basic skills in the pool.

Step Four- Openwater Dives

Now its time to take the skills learned in the pool to openwater. The location will be your choice locally Philadelphia Quarry, on your own personal trip, or on a trip with us.
